At Vedarka Engineering Services, we prioritize safety, compliance, and quality in every installation. We offer a comprehensive range of structural Professional Engineering (PE) stamping services, tailored to meet diverse project needs. Our licensed engineers meticulously review and certify solar permit drawings to ensure full regulatory compliance. Whether for commercial or other types of projects, we provide reliable PE/EE stamping services. Partner with us for expert assessment and approval of your PV permit designs. One of our key offerings is Solar Permits—essentially a detailed blueprint tailored for solar installers. These permit packages outline every aspect of a solar power system, including panel layout, mounting details, electrical schematics, and structural assessments. Whether for residential or commercial projects, our professionally crafted plan sets serve as reliable, step-by-step guides to streamline your installation process.

Our Stamping Service

Solar projects need to have PE stamping to approve your permit designs. Additionally, AHJs (Authority Having Jurisdiction) require PE/EE stamping.

EE Stamping/Electrical Stamping

In our Electrical Engineering (EE) stamping services, qualified professionals thoroughly evaluate the electrical line diagrams included in the permit design. They focus on critical elements such as wiring, interconnections, wire schedules, main service panel (MSP) ratings, and fault current analysis. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive load justification letter. Our experts ensure that every detail is accurate and aligns with industry standards and safety regulations.

PE Stamping/Structural Stamping

As part of our Structural PE stamping services, a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) carefully examines the design details—including structural calculations, layout, mounting systems, and more—to ensure full compliance with local building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations. Our engineers conduct an in-depth review to detect any potential issues, such as damage to rafters, trusses, or roofing structures. In addition to PE stamps, we also provide supporting documentation when needed, such as post-installation letters, engineering letters, and specialized letters for AHJs.

Questions? You’re covered.

A PE (Professional Engineer) Stamp certifies that the electrical and structural aspects of your solar project have been thoroughly reviewed and approved by a licensed professional engineer. This stamp is a mark of reliability, ensuring that your project meets all applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements. It's often necessary for permit approval and can also provide peace of mind regarding the system's durability and performance.

Most commercial and many residential solar projects require a PE Stamp for electrical and structural components, especially when modifications to existing structures are involved, or when the project must meet specific regulatory or financing criteria. It's always best to check with your local jurisdiction or project financier for specific requirements.

To obtain a PE Stamp, your project's electrical and structural designs must be submitted to us for review. Our licensed professional engineers will then conduct a comprehensive evaluation to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards. Once the designs are approved, we will issue the PE Stamp for your project.

The review process typically takes between 12 hrs to 24 hrs, depending on the complexity of the project and the completeness of the documentation submitted. We strive to complete reviews as efficiently as possible while ensuring thoroughness and compliance
